I’m learning to stop chasing after love. And to stop chasing after people.

I’m seeing that anybody I need to chase after certainly does not want to be caught. I’m learning how itis a waste of my time and energy by doing so.I am finally putting faith in the idea that the right person is going to show up when they’re supposed to, and they will stay. And I will never ever have to chase them. I’m finally seeing all the wonderful things there are out there I should be chasing after instead of chasing after love.

Instead of chasing love, chase after making new connections. Chase after the captivating conversations that leave you dumbfounded with questions that open you up to unfamiliar sides of life. Cool Drama. Chase after your freedom to do whatever the hell you want, whenever the hell you want to do it. Chase after your solitude.

The places you go when you want to be alone with your thoughts. Chase after the places that make you feel happy to be alive.

Don’t chase after love. Instead, chase after passion. Chase after places that make you feel alive. Chase after adventure. Chase after dreams that terrify you and excite you at the same time. Chase after uncertainty. Chase after madness and confusion. Chase after the moments you can’t put into words.

Chase after ideas and creativity. Chase after whatever it is that keeps you up late at night because you can’t stop thinking about it. Whatever you do, don’t spend your time chasing after love. Love will find you when you least expect it to.It will show up after you have fallen in love with every other part of life. Love will come after you have fallen in love with yourself.
